Your Purpose Doesn't Have Time for your Fear!

So here's the deal... Friday was launch day for my Dailymotion streaming channel and absolutely nothing was going as planned! It was 12 on the dot and time to post my Get To Know Me video (now mind you, this wasn't the first time I've posted a video of myself). But for some reason, out of nowhere a strong feeling of fear fell over me, it came quick and unexpectedly! my mind was in a frenzy with thoughts that had me second guessing myself (are they going to like me, is my content good enough, does I hate the lighting)!

For a brief moment I gave into fear and decided NOT to publish the video. Not a half second later a scripture popped in my head and something in my spirit said, "You've never worried about what people thought when it came to Tifphoria, why are you being fearful now?!"

"For the Spirit that God has given us does not make us timid; instead, his Spirit fills us with power, love, and self-control"

-2 Timothy 1:7

You see, everything that comes from Tifphoria has a scripture and a testimony tied to it, it's a platform for encouragement that reaches beyond those in my immediate circle... If I would've given into fear then an opportunity to share the goodness of Christ with others would have been lost. We as believers can not allow fear and doubt to cancel our purpose or assignment, instead we have to dismiss the feeling immediately and stand firm on God's word pertaining to our lives!
